Arizona Label & Packaging began as a small one-press label company named Arizona Label Systems. It was founded by Eugene Shane in 1976 with a small 3-color label press and an assortment of dies. In 1982 Eugene retired and sold the company to Glen and Jeanne Norris. The Norris family already owned a commercial printing company named Preferred Printing & Graphics, which they combined with the newly acquired Arizona Label Systems.
In 1986, Kyle Norris, the son of Glen and Jeanne, joined the company full-time after completing college at ASU. Kyle soon assumed full management of the business and began a concentrated effort to build the biggest small label and packaging company in the Southwest. Kyle accomplished this by upgrading the shop's equipment, hiring quality-focused, creatively minded, and service-oriented employees and ensuring that everything Arizona Label Systems produced was of the highest quality.
The shop has expanded over the years to produce more types of printed media, including packaging. This led to the business being renamed to Arizona Label & Packaging to reflect the increased capabilities. Kyle and his wife Anna are now the principle owners and have found success by keeping their core values: employing expert press operators and designers, printing the highest quality labels and packaging, and ensuring every customer receives the best service in the Southwest.
